Does The PL Fixture List 2019/20 Make Spurs Signings More Urgent?

Fixture-List-2019/20

The fixtures are out and have raised the question, does the PL fixture list 2019/20 make Spurs signings urgent?

The opening fixture of the 2019/20 Premier League season is against newly promoted Aston Villa at home. The second game is against ManchesterCity away, the third fixture Newcastle United at home and the final fixture in August is against Europa League side Arsenal away.

Obviously, Manchester City and Arsenal stand out as important fixtures, although three points from all game is important and approaching them in that way too.

It does beg the question, doesn't it. Is there now more pressure on Daniel Levy Does to conclude our transfer business as early as possible?

The longer new signings have to bed in the better with pre-season thought to be beginning on 8 July.

Any new signing needs to grasp our system quickly to give ourselves the best chance in these games or do we go with the tried and tested?

You would expect Harry Winks to start, but with who alongside him?

Giovani Lo Celso is away with Argentina at the 49th edition of the Copa America, this time in Brazil from Friday 14th June until Saturday 7th July, after which the players involved will need at least 2 weeks holiday.

That's 21st July so even if he signed tomorrow he wouldn't be with the team and beginning training until then. It is more likely he will sign on the dotted line after the tournament is concluded if he signs for us that is.

Guess a whole bunch of fans won't appreciate that though.
