Spurs Summer Transfer Window Day 83 and not long to go before the summer transfer window closes.

Exclusive Spurs Chat

Dejan Kulusevski came to the attention of everyone after a season a Parma, which tempted Juventus to snap him up.

However, it wasn't a complete success story at the most dominant side in Italy and Tottenham plucked him from the bench to bring him to London.

Since his arrival in February, he has had 10 assists, more than any other player in the Premier League.

People call for an attacking midfield playmaker, yet his assist against Nottingham Forest on Sunday as from the centre of the park and Antonio Conte has said he is capable of playing centrally.

Since the beginning of March, Tottenham have gained 39 points, more than any other team in the Premier League, winning 12 games and drawing 3 of the last 17.

Not sure some of our fans realise how good we are, or as I showed yesterday, some reporters don't even know howe play!

If Spurs were Chelsea under John Terry you'd all be saying that's what we want to do.

Spurs play like Chelsea used to against us, soak up us having the ball and kill us with an attack or two.

Transfer Talk

Welcome to Tottenham Transfer talk where I try to put some flesh on the bones for you and give you my take on Tottenham Transfer News.

I'm not a spring chicken so have more experience to call upon that many a fan, coupled with more research to give a sensible view on the rumours.

It's Tuesday morning as I write this and Fabrizio Romano tells you that the Yannick Carrasco is open, while Alasdair Gold and Paul O'Keefe say the opposite.

Many a fan hangs on their every word and if they all knew, they would all be signing from the same hymn sheet.

That isn't how journalism works today, no today it is a case of scour the Internet, form an opinion upon what you read and present that as your information.

Alas, the first thing you read on a topic becomes your opinion, that's how human nature works and you'll think it is your original thought!

All proven facts as the result of research.

166 words and I've said is welcome, this is why you read me!

Sergio Reguilón

Lazio wanted to take Sergio Reguilón on loan.

They wanted to pay him €1m net salary, which is 23,256 per week (1st Sept to 31 June).

Tottenham were asking that Lazio pay €1.7m net, which is 39,535 per week.

His salary is roughly €2.9m, which is €55,769 per week.

Atlético came along and offered to cover his wages.

Now I haven't been able to quite nail down whether the Spanish LaLiga side, who of course Kieran Trippier went to, are covering Reguilón's complete wage or the €1.7m we requested on the Serie A side.

Lazio refused to go above paying €1m of the Spaniards salary, hence why that deal didn't go through.

Cristian Romero

As you all probably know by now that Argentinian defender Cristian Romero has signed a contract until 2027 and Spurs now can add £42m to the net transfer spend, meaning over £115m without add-ons.

Incredibly I have seen an anti-Levy idiot complaining about this!

Tells you all you need to know about the agenda driven, as we have proven many times before.

Pape Matar Sarr

Now the Rodrigo Bentancur has been medically assessed, Cremonese are awaiting the green light again to sign Pape Matar Sarr on loan for the season.

Harry Winks

Harry Winks had to wait until Tuesday to get a visa to travel to Italy and undergo his medical ahead of his loan move with option to buy to Sampdoria, who were thrashed at the weekend.

Steven Caulker

Turkish Super Lig side Fatih Karagümrük have signed 30-year-old (31 in December) Sierra Leone international, yes that's right 8 caps, and former Tottenham centre-back Steven Caulker.

Caulker arrives at Andrea Pirlo's side on a two-year deal from fellow Turkish side Fenerbahçe.

Japhet Tanganga

Spurs have been unable to secure a deal that involves an obligation to buy Japhet Tanganga or one that pays enough of his salary, therefore he stays at Spurs.

That means we won't need another centre-back, having six already. That also gives us, or retains, a homegrown player plus an English Association trained and club trained player for European competitions.

Lucas Moura

Back to Turkey and Galatasaray have asked to take Lucas Moura on loan speaking both to Tottenham and Moura himself.

They asked Spurs for an initial loan with option to buy and the Turkish outlet revealing the story suggest his market value is 20m (£17.17m) but it looks as if they have simply taken that from another website.
