The Real Højbjerg Update, Not The Fake

The Real Højbjerg Update, Not The Fake

The-Real-Højbjerg-Update,-Not-The-Fake

Hello once again to some more Tottenham Tittle Tattle from the Tottenham Hotspur Blog News (THBN) with the usual variety and news ahead of the rest.

First, as you are budget cooking with mince for the next day or two, you could add some bacon pieces to the pot.

I'd suggest popping to your local Tesco and picking up a packet of bacon pieces for 76p, they are ideal for this.

That's all the Gordon Blue cooking advice for today, you're still tucking into the mince aren't you.

Next time we'll move onto Irish sausages.

So I guess we had better talk football.

Right, news yesterday that Everton have had a £25m bid accepted by Southampton for 24-year-old (25in August) midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

Don't worry about it. It is fake news put out by Southampton to a local reporter.

It is simply to apply pressure to Daniel Levy to up his offer which was the story the day before if you remember.

Reporters covering Merseyside say it isn't true.

What we have is a fake story that everybody picks up and just repeats as if it were true,

Remember the article on the press the day before?

And so it comes to pass.

Højbjerg has no interest in Everton, he simply wants to join Tottenham so Southampton can play all the games they like, Everton know he is signing for Spurs as soon as a fee is agreed.

This is another deal Mourinho will want sorted quickly as he will be an important component at the base of our midfield in the defensive role.

Tottenham and Southampton will have an idea of what they want the overall cost of transactions to be for Kyle Walker-Peters and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

Whether they are separate deals or not, they will still have a bearing on either deal.

How is this for complete garbage and a total lack of understanding of the game?

Spurs believe they can get him for £30m - £30m - whoever wrote this crap hasn't a clue and certainly has no idea what Spurs think.

Nobody in their right mind would ever offer £30m for an ordinary player with just 1 year left on their contract.

Everton HAVE NOT offered £25m, they have offered £18m.

You'd only consider paying that if he had 3 years left on his contract.

I despair with the garbage some of these people put out.

Højbjerg ONLY wants to join Tottenham and is telling other clubs he wants to join Spurs.

That is the bottom line.

He has told Spurs he is coming to Spurs.

He and we have known this for months.

Obviously the Levy out agenda driven followers have taken fake news as gospel to spout their bile once again.

These people couldn't actually support anything.

Blocked a few more of the imbeciles today.

Talking of crap.
Tottenham Hotspur have re-entered the race for the signature of Paulo Dybala. Juventus are keen on selling in order to raise funds for the clubs current financial situation. Tottenham are confident that they can overcome the issues that prevailed previously. [David Orstein]
Interest from Arsenal FC has come as of late and Tottenham are expected to offload Erik Lamela, Harry Winks and Dele Alli in order to facilitate Dybalas €95m move to the lily whites. [David Orstein]
Those two pieces were put out by Hotspur Related, yet another regurgitation account.

I agree with Daniel Levy over the Saints player.

I have previously suggested he is only worth £15m with a year left on his contract with perhaps performance related add-ons taking it to £18m.

You certainly wouldn't pay more than £20m for him.

He is not Christian Eriksen who went for £18m with 6 months left on his contract.

Spurs, I believe, are offering £15m as the opening offer, which suggests to me we will be happy with a deal up to no more than £20m.

Next is the right-back situation.

Two days ago I wrote that Serge Aurier was probably staying at Tottenham, that he had been playing for his place and has impressed Mourinho.

The following day we have Football London's Alasdair Gold writing about Serge Aurier possibly staying ans signing a new contract.

ITK then write he is likely to stay and we might only sign one right-back!

But you guys are used to this now.
