Tottenham Transfer Talk: Gray, Suso, Veltman
TRANSFER TALK
Sky Sports report that 21-year-old (22 next June) Demarai Gray has held with talks with Leicester City over a move away with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Borussia Dortmund are all showing an interest. The suggestion is we are not interested in paying £20 million (€22.39m - AUS$33.15m - US$26.42m) or more for a player who can't get into the Leicester City side.

I see it is being misreported that Tottenham have missed out on 25-year-old (26 next January) Ajax captain Joël Veltman, yet Spurs were never actually after him. The whole story was basically that he himself courted Tottenham and said he wouldn't be able to refuse us if we came calling. We didn't come a calling and he has now signed a new contract with the UEFA Europa League finalists.
Also as reported all summer, 23-year-old (24 in November)Spanish attacking midfielder Suso is not for sale and has no intention of leaving AC Milan. His agent has sat down with the club to discuss the new contract both sides have wanted. Reports say they will offer him a new 5-year contract with a hefty pay rise. I wonder why he was linked with us! It seems to work time and time again.
