Pass completion stats are impressive and BBC MOTD video link

SPURS 5 BOURNEMOUTH 0

We played 655 passes to 298 from Bournemouth. Our success rate was 89% compared with their 74%. We played 19 key passes to their 5.

Spurs Pass Completion Stats
Mousa Dembele 98.5% from 77 touches
Kyle Walker 96% from 69 touches
Hugo Lloris 93.3% from 33 touches
Jan Vertonghen 93% from 111 touches
Eric Dier 90.8% from 82 touches
Son Heung-min 90% from 73 touches
Harry Kane 88.2% from 38 touches
Ben Davies 87.7% from 77 touches
Dele Alli 84.8% from 61 touches
Toby Alderweireld 84.6% from 87 touches
Christian Eriksen 76.8% from 96 touches
Victor Wanyama 71.4% from 18 touches

While our passing stats are impressive, our finishing in the early part of the season was not clinical enough. Now we are regularly banging in three or four goals. While that is an improvement there is still room to improve again, We missed quite a few one-on-one chances, Kane missed a couple and although offside Son Heung-min totally missed the target. We see Dele Alli miss them and it is these little things that will make us even harder to beat.

The Fantastic Four
KANE: 25 goals and 5 assists
ALLI: 19 goals and 11 assists
SON: 19 goals and 8 assists
ERIKSEN: 11 goals and 18 assists

The role of the defensive midfielder is not just to defend the back four, his role is often to switch play as quickly as possible, Dier's recycling of the ball quickly was first class and we know when he has time on the ball he can pick a pass too.

Mousa Dembele seemed to be everywhere on the pitch and Harry Kane was showing some lovely touches to link the play well at the front, one of those flicks creating the goal for Son Heung-min.

Tottenham are a joy to watch, even opposition fans are saying so.

The bastard thing about Spurs doing so well is that when you wake up late you miss them on cos they've been on 1st, or even 2nd!!! 😂😂😂

For those of you who have missed Match of the Day you can always catch it at the link, where you will also find the whole Spurs vs Bournemouth game.
