No chance Keylor Navas will join Spurs

TRANSFER TALK

Spanish outlet Don Balon) have come up with a strange story. They suggest that the out-of-favour Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be set to join either Arsenal or Tottenham in the summer.

The 30-year-old (31 in December) Real Madrid stopper would have no place at Tottenham. He wouldn't be shifting Hugo Lloris, who has made it plain he will stay at Tottenham while Mauricio Pochettino is there because their footballing philosophies match so much.

He leads Spurs young pups and behind him 33-year-old (34 in October) Dutchman Michel Vorm signed a new contract in December to keep him at the club until 2018. Our third choice, 22-year-old (23 in December) Spaniard Pau Lopez is being trained for the future. He jumped at the chance to work with Hugo Lloris every day and it is clear from reports that we are happy with him and want to sign him permanently after his loan spell finishes on 30 June.

It seems the paper have simply taken two teams from the Premier League to invent a story, which is quite usual when you want to drum up interest in a player or remind everyone that a player might be available.
