A chance to make some ground on Liverpool

With the results over the Christmas period the pressure is now on Tottenham to produce the goods at Southampton and come away with three points. The challenge, as Mauricio Pochettino pointed out recently on weekends like this is to maintain the gap, maintain our points position away from those above us.

It just adds that little bit of pressure on them for the next game. Liverpool have four tough fixtures coming up in their next nine Premier League games, they have to play Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. That will give them an easy run-in.

With Chelsea well clear we have to go on a winning run. Our next nine games are:
