TRANSFER TALK

If you didn't see last night's article and the news that Lopez is to join you can read the article here:

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo report that 27-year-old (28 next March) Sporting midfielder Adrien Silva us keen on a move to Spurs. We wull have to wait and see if we switch targets and go for the Sporting Silva, we are also interested in Rafa Silva at Braga.

The Independent report that we have activated the two-year extension in 24-year-old (25 next March) Erik Lamela's contract. His current contract went up until 2018 so that has now been extended until 2020. Lamela has started to become the player we paid £30-million for as Gareth Bale's replacement.

Watford are said to be close to the signing of 30-year-old (31 next January) former Spurs captain Younes Kaboul who fell out with Pochettino when he though his philosophy was wrong and wouldn't work. The youngsters led by Harry Kane and Ryan Mason stood up to Kaboul and other senior players telling them they were the problem. Kaboul was then sidelined and was no longer the mouthpiece of the club, despite officially being captain.
