Keys, Wright and Man U

Richard Keys asks why Tottenham couldn't tempt Gareth Bale back? Answer: Because he is playing for his boyhood dream club. Who gives up a boyhood dream unless they have to? Plus the fact that he is the marketing future of Real Madrid, he is going to be their focal point once Cristiano Ronaldo has left, which could well be this summer.

Keys, Wright and Man U

Ian Wright is apparently taking a 'risk' when he states a certainty, that Mauricio Pochettino will not be joining Manchester United. He won't be leaving Tottenham, who despite other reports, do not have to have an influx of cash to keep him.

Manchester United are proving what a great manager Sir Alex Ferguson was and currently, while they may be a bigger club, it would be a backward step for the Argentinian. He has a setup at Tottenham  that suits him and the backing of a chairman, he has the best training facilities in the country, has staff on his wavelength and players who have bought into his philosophies and thus have raised their games all within a successful system.

All manchester United can offer is money, he'd have to start again from scratch and as he is a loyal individual he would have to go against his own ethics to leave. He only left Southampton because the chairman left and the new incumbent wouldn't give him the assurances he sought, as revealed by the players themselves.

None of that will stop the press trying to whip up a fictional story though.
