Is Owen warming to Kane?

Michael Owen was never going to praise Newcastle after they had beaten Liverpool, players seem to forget they are supposed to be impartial as experts and we usually have to listen to then predict their former side winning or not losing. It is a complete waste of time asking them. he doesn't see any joy for them at White Hart Lane.

“I thought the Reds were very unfortunate to go down 2-0 to Newcastle on Sunday in a very lacklustre 90 minutes at St James Park. I think Newcastle were flattered in their 2-0 defeat of Liverpool at St James Park on Sunday, albeit their energy levels seemed much improved, and I expect Spurs to bring the Magpies back down to earth at the Lane.
“Harry Kane rested for Thursday’s Europa League fixture with Monaco and with him fit and raring to go on Sunday Mauricio Pochettino’s side should seal all three points in North London.”

He mentions Harry Kane, the striker he doesn't think will ever be world class. Last November on BT Sport he referred to Kane as a 'Jack of all Trades, Master of None' striker.

“He is a mixture of everything. When people ask me if he is good enough for England, I think he is, but I am not sure if he is good enough at one thing.
“He is not exceptional at any one thing. He hasn’t got blistering pace, he isn’t 6ft 7in, he doesn’t knock players out of the way. He is not great at anything, he is a very good all-round player.
“I am saying he can do everything. I am not saying he cannot do anything. I don’t think he is exceptional at any one thing…
“Kane is like a very, very good all-round player. Is he going to be an absolute world-class player? I would be surprised if he was, but I think that he is good enough for England.”
Kane then set the Premier League alight by banging in the goals all season and winning the PFA Young Player of the Year. Perhaps he is warming to him.
