Inter Milan have set a high price tag of €45 million for midfielder Davide Frattesi, reflecting their reluctance to part with the player, especially during the January transfer window. 

This valuation stems from Inter's desire to maintain squad stability and recoup their significant investment in the right-footed central midfield player.

However, Frattesi's situation at Inter has become increasingly complex. 

The 25-year-old Italian international has found himself primarily used as a substitute, with limited playing time since joining the club.

This has led to growing frustration for the player, who recently confronted coach Simone Inzaghi about his lack of opportunities.

Frattesi has expressed a preference for a team that employs a three-man midfield, aligning with his strengths as a mezzala. He stated that the club's playing style and tactics will be decisive in his decision-making process.

Given Inter wants to keep him as a back-up player, it must be his agent (Davide Frattesi is represented by the agency GR Sports) who has offered him to Tottenham and therefore feels that Ange Postecoglou's style will suit his game.
