Exclusive Spurs Chat

Fear is the instinctive preparation for resistance.

Resistance isn't support.

Accept your fears, release the past and be a more courageous person.

Fear is your gateway to fearlessness.

You only have one life so you should make it a happy one, hence why you block the perennial unhappy, no point getting dragged down to their miserable level.

The fact they are protesting tells you they are people you don't need to listen to.

You have the power the change your life, the way you think.

You are not going to change Spurs, far better to understand and have a healthier outlook than letting your insecurities and jealousy rule you.

You could call this a road map for the anti fan to a better, more fulfilling life.

Fear, anxiety, laziness are all natural human traits that you either fall in line with or, if you want to be successful, you harness or change.

That takes effort, most are not prepared to put that effort in.

You see social media full of these people, barely able to say a supporting word about Spurs, even when, as we know there is much to support.

They are basically running on auto-pilot, but there is a practical, attainable path out of this fear led life.

An entrepreneur is not worried by failure in the slightest, it is a part of being successful, indeed it often takes many failure before success appears.

Transfer Talk

Sergio Reguilón

Sergio Reguilón is obviously waiting for Barcelona or a UEFA Champions League club in the hope that such a move comes off and will no doubt arrange something else in the last couple of days it seems.

There has been plenty of interest in him but his wages are a stumbling block for most clubs and Tottenham are insisting upon a sale or a loan with an obligation to buy.

He has a contract until 2025 so we do have some leeway to sell him next summer and Spurs transfer policy this summer has been to seek the ideal, to wait until late in the window to see if someone buys a player and then resort to a loan as a fall back option.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case with almost every player with fees received only for Cameron Carter-Vickers and Steven Bergwijn, excluding any loan fees received.

Italian giants Juventus have made an enquiry, despite having bought Filip Kostić from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

Lazio are interested in him but not in his wages and Reguilón is reluctant to lower them, so again, another loan option with Spurs paying part of his salary.

Does he think Conte will give in and pick him in the Premier League squad and allow him to train with the first team?

There is no place in the Champions League squad when we make another non-English Football Association trained purchase, as we surely will.

Complicating matters is that Reguilón is injured and out for another three weeks.

Memphis Depay

The delay in the move of Memphis Depay from Barcelona to Juventus is over his wages, he is demanding too much, which would rather suggest he was never a real target for Spurs but just someone offered to Fabio Paratici that he looked into.

Michael Olise

Tottenham will monitor 20-year-old (21 in December) Michael Olise this season, the young Crystal Palace midfielder.

The 86% left-footed was born in England but plays for the French U-21 team.

Harry Winks

Former England international Harry Winks, who by his on admission lost form, has been offered to Roma, now managed by former Tottenham boss José Mourinho.

Spurs have offered him on loan with an option to buy, having not managed to sell him yet.

Roma's new signing Georginio Wijnaldum has suffered a broken leg so they need a replacement while keeping costs down.

Sampdoria are the latest to show an interest in him and the two clubs have all but agreed a deal.

An offer has been made to Winks but he wants to wait for a Premier League club for a few more days.

Tetê

Fabio Paratici has submitted a bid for Lyon midfielder Tetê, ho is on loan from Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk.

The 22-year-old (23 next February) Brazilian U-23 international left-footed right winger was only sent out on loan in March.
