Good day, the title says it all, Spurs are working to move Gil out and Nusa in before the window shuts.

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Tottenham has spent more than the rest of the English Premier League (EPL) combined this window because everyone is struggling with the Profitability and Sustainability rules.

In the summer there will be even more suitors for him and in a new financial year they will have more money, plus a chance to sell players to raise money.

Daniel Levy is trying to take advantage of our situation and pounce when other clubs have one hand tied behind their backs.

Bryan Gil

Tottenham sources say the club are actively trying to sell Bryan Gil this window, hence why the news has come out about 'wonderkid' Antonio Nusa.

As I mentioned the other day, Bryan Gil doesn't want to leave, he's happy at Spurs, but he has been told his game time will be limited and the club need to convince him that his future lies elsewhere.

Tottenham are pricing him to get sold. The potential fee (something over £10 million) has been reduced but we'll ask for bonus fees based on performance and a sell-on clause.

Antonio Nusa

Plenty of clubs around Europe are interested in 18-year-old (19 in April) Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa and Tottenham's hand has rather been forced.

He is considered to be one of the most exciting talents in European football in his age bracket.

The plan was to sign him in the summer but with other clubs actively pursuing him now, Spurs have joined the fray, brought forward plans and are trying to secure his signature this transfer window.

Barcelona, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal gives you an idea of the calibre pf teams vying for his signature.

West Ham United are in for him too, but our brand of football and the chances he is likely to get looking forward, could be the deciding factor.

All the due diligence has been done on him and he'll cost over £21.48 million (€25m).

If we secure his signature, he'll be loaned straight back to them for the remainder of the season, which gives him game time and keeps the Belgian club happy, as they know he'll be gone in the summer anyway.

Ideally, we would want him in our squad now, but we won't lose the deal over refusing to loan him back. In that respect, we'll do what it takes.

Postecoglou has spoken to Nusa to put his vision for the club and for Nusa himself before him.

You have heard me talk about vision and the fact Spurs should do vision training, which is also mental training, well, Nusa has vision.

He constantly looks around him so he knows where everyone is before he gets the ball and where the opposition are.

He is seen as the successor to Heung-min Son, who might be moved on sooner than people think, if a long-term successor settles in and produces the goods next season.

What you want to know is how it's going, don't you?

The short answer is very well. Nusa and his family like what they have seen and heard so he is keen to join the 'club project', music to Pochettino's ears.

The talks with Club Brugge have progressed well and every effort is being made to get this over the line as soon as possible.

Fingers crossed.
