Contained herein, you'll find information you won't get from all the other sites, social media accounts and YouTube channels.

So, with the preliminaries out of the way, let's crack on.

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Eric Dier

Roma are looking at Eric Dier.

The Italians need centre-backs but only have an extra €1.5 million (£1.3m) to spend, which includes any increase in salary from what they have.

They hope Spurs would let Dier go very cheaply if buying Romanian international and former Juventus centre-back Radu Drăgușin.

Roma also expects Spurs to wait to see what offers come in for our England international.

Ben Godfrey of Everton and Rob Holding of Crystal Palace are two other options from the Premier League.

Serhou Guirassy

Manchester United are said to be interested in strikers Eric Maxim Choupo-Motin of Bayern Munich, Timo Werner of RB Leipzig, Thomas Müller of Bayern Munich and Serhou Guirassy of VfB Stuttgart.

Guirassy has been linked with Spurs of course and has stated his preference to join Spurs over Manchester United.

Italian side AC Milan are also strongly interested in him with Olivier Giroud now 37 and out of contract in the summer (15 Serie A games, 8 goals, 5 assists).

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Juventus has liquidity problems demonstrating just because you are one of the 12 richest clubs in the world, it doesn't mean you are always flush with transfer funds or wages, which of course the new UEFA financial rules are putting pressure on.

Ideally, Juventus would like to buy Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta but at €40 million (£34.58m) they simply can't afford him without sales they seem reluctant to make the Italian press report.

Kalvin Phillips hasn't convinced the Italians he would be a good buy apparently and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is not available on loan.

Juve wants a loan with the option to buy, Tottenham wants a sale and we have set the price at 30 million (£25.93m).

That deal therefore looks unlikely to happen.

Ko Itakura

Tottenham have been monitoring Ko Itakura, the 26-year-old Japanese international (22 caps, 1 goal) defender currently plying his trade in the Bundesliga for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Transfer man Fabrizio Romano suggests Liverpool are following the €15m rated (£12.94m) (Transfermarkt valuation) right-footed centre-back as well.

He has started 44% of the Bundesliga games he has been available for, picking up 4 yellow cards in just 7 appearances.

I haven't done the research but that clearly is a red flag worthy of further investigation by the club (something that will have already been done of course).

Itakura was on the books of Manchester City from January 2019 until they sold him to the German side in July 2022 for €5m (£4.32m).

However, in that time Man City loaned him out to FC Groningen (Netherlands) and FC Schalke 04 (Germany).

CAA Base Ltd (agents)

Interestingly, Itakura's agents are none other than CAA Base Ltd., with whom Spurs have a very good working relationship.

Base, as they are generally referred to, have 169 top-tier players on their books, including some interesting names:

Current Players and Staff (8)

  • Ange Postecoglou
  • Matt Wells (Spurs Assistant Manager)
  • James Maddison
  • Heung-min Son
  • Pedro Porro
  • Pape Matar Sarr
  • Dane Scarlett
  • Djed Spence

Former Players (5)

  • Dele Alli
  • Kyle Walker-Peters
  • Pierluigi Gollini
  • Kieran Trippier
  • Kyle Walker

Transfer Targets (5)

  • Ko Itakura
  • Samuel Iling-Junior (Juventus)
  • Trevoh Chalobah (Chelsea)
  • Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)
  • Gleison Bremer (Juventus)

I think you can all see why we have a good working relationship and why any links to their players should be taken seriously.
