Summer Transfer News

Good day folks, a range of topics today, Fabio Paratici, Tottenham Transfer Talk, Spurs Transfer Chat and Tottenham Hiring, so it's all along the same theme, Spurs employment.

Fabio Paratici

During his time at Juventus, Fabio Paratici was known for employing a transfer policy that focused heavily on acquiring free agents.

Juventus' strategy was to sign experienced players who were available on a free transfer and could still offer quality performances in the short term.

The club believed that this approach would help them to save money on transfer fees while also adding experienced players to the team.

Paratici's transfer policy at Juventus also involved signing young, promising players who had the potential to develop into top-quality players in the future.

In many cases, Juventus signed these young players to low-cost deals with the aim of developing them over time and potentially selling them for a profit in the future.

It's worth noting that Paratici's approach to transfers was not solely focused on free agents.

Juventus also spent significant sums of money on acquiring top-quality players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs de Ligt.

However, the club's ability to successfully identify and sign free agents played a key role in their success during Paratici's time at the club.

This is important, as it fits in with Daniel Levy's vision for Spurs of developing a successful side based around developing young players.

Look at our transfer policy, we are buying young players, but players with experience accompanied by free agents like Perišić and Forster.

Keep that in mind leading up to the summer transfer market and keep in mind the areas Spurs need to improve in.

Improvement is a gradual process, not an instant one, expect that to continue.

Our scouting department will be filtering through every player who will be a free agent in the summer, well actually this will already have been done and the players purs are interested in will already have been sounded out.

Thus, the club will know who is a potential target and who isn't.

Spurs will also know roughly how much each will cost in signing-on fees, wages etc.

Equally, Spurs scouting department will know every player with one year left on their contract this summer and every player with two years left.

Whenever you hear of us linked with someone, ask yourself how it fits
with this policy.

Transfers can not just be looked at, as will this help us win a trophy.

whole set of circumstances must align, availability, price, the ability of Spurs to create a vacancy in the squad etc.

So let's move on to transfer speculation.

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Real Madrid are said to be interested in Cristian Romerowhile Spurs are reported to be interested in 27-year-old (28 next January) Real Madrid midfield summer free agent, Marco Asensio.

The Sussex World say: "Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up summer transfer moves for Brighton & Hove Albion wonderkid and Republic of Ireland international Evan Ferguson."

Ferguson is an 18-year-old (19in October) centre-forward who has 3 goals and 2 assists in 303 minutes of Premier League football.

He also has 1 goal and 1 assist in 101 minutes of League Cup football.

Mohamed Dahoud will leave Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund as a free agent in the summer.

BVB Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl told Bild: “I had an open and very honest conversation with Dahoud last week. I told him that we would not be extending his contract in the summer.”

The 27-year-old (28 next January) central midfielder is a player Tottenham have tried to sign before.

Tottenham are happy with Clement Lenglet and would be interested in taking him from Barcelona, but there would have to be some negotiation as his salary is way too high for our pockets.

The Frenchman can play centrally or as a left-sided centre-back with Ben Davies as cover and as we have seen, cover for left-back too, which would possibly free Perišić to play further forPerišićard.

There is Ryan Sessegnon and Desting Udogie next season.

It is just an option Spurs are exploring.

As for any position, you investigate a range of options, as different circumstances require different solutions, so most that you explore, you never actually put into practice.

Turkish side Fenerbahçe are reportedly finalising terms to sign Lucas Moura immediately suggest their local press.

Brazilian Moura, who has been injured all season, has been offered a three-year contract and Spurs are willing to let him leave for free.

Fenerbahçe have until March 5th to complete the deal after their transfer window was extended and have an advantageous tax system for millionaires.

Spurs Transfer Chat

A player that both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have looked as, has decided to go to Italy and join AC Milan.

This demonstrates that the argument the anti (3% of fans) try to use, Spurs are the 8th/9th richest club in the world, isn't valid, with Manchester United being one of the richest.

Matter always have to be looked at in context.

The context is that Italy is an easier route into the UEFA Champions League for a player.

That's the bottom line.

Clubs in England can't guarantee European football every season, that is easier to achieve in Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

If you join Borussia Dortmund for instance, you have the chance of domestic trophies but are also virtually guaranteed Champions League football every season.

That is far more of a pull than joining the 4th/5th/6th richest club in England.

Equally, you are far more likely to play every week with clubs throughout Europe having to play, develop and sell youngsters to survive.

Champions League football is the pull today, not money, for the vast majority of players at that level.

The player in question, by the way, is Marcus Thuram, currently of German side Borussia Mönchengladbach.
