Inter agree fee for Spurs target

ESPN are reporting they have been told Italian side Inter Milan are the favourites to sign 20-year-old Legia Warsaw midfielder Ondrej Duda, whom Tottenham have been watching.



Legia Warsaw play in the Polish Ekstraklasa and scouts from Inter, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Southampton, who are said to be preparing a £5 million (US$7.65m - AUS$10m - €7.01m) bid, Everton, Stoke City, West Ham United and a host of European clubs have been watching his progress.

The highly rated attacking midfielder has received 2 full caps for Slovenia and has already scored his country. Slovenia host England in an upcoming European Championship Group E game on Sunday 14th June. Slovenia currently sit second behind England in the table.

ESPN say Inter Milan, now managed by Roberto Mancini and who missed out on European qualification this season, have agreed a £5.42 million (US$8.29m - AUS$10.85m - €7.6m) deal with the Polish side. Duda scored 8 goals and had 9 assists in 42 games in all competitions this season. His total minutes played was 2,870 which equates to 31.88 full games.
