Transfer Talk - Suso, Kessié and Perišić

Transfer talk today brings Italian news of Suso, Kessié and Perišić.

Winger Suso has a £35.10 million (€40m) release clause in his Milan contract which Leonardo Araújo, Sporting director of AC Milan, would like to increase or remove from his contract. Both Spurs and Arsenal are following him and he is thought to fancy a move to London.

I wrote a couple of weeks ago now that we were still tracking midfielder Franck Kessié and it would appear now that Spurs have contacted Milan about signing him in the summer.

The 22-year-old(23 in December) central midfielder is on loan at Milan from Atalanta and has been since 1 July 2017 under a £7.02 million (€8m) loan fee arrangement. The Ivory Coast international (27 caps) will join Milan on a permanent transfer in the summer for £17.55 million (€20m), there is an obligation to buy in the loan deal contract.

Italian website TMW suggests that an offer of £35.10 million (€40m) would secure his services from Milan who as ever it seems are in financial difficulties despite a takeover.

UEFA warned them that they must break even or they will be banned from European competition after they escaped a previous ban.

Tuttosport suggests 30-year-old (31 next February) Inter Milan winger Ivan Perišić is set to sign for Tottenham in the summer.

Manchester United and Arsenal particularly have been chasing the Croatian international (78 caps, 22 goals) left-winger who is under contract until 2022.

The Italian press are always selling is Inter Milan players and none of them arrive. It is usually because they need to sell players to balance the books to conform to Financial Fair Play.
