Spurs Transfer News

Tottenham have asked about the availability of AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo.

The 19-year-old (20 in July) attacking midfielder who has won 2 full Italian caps is valued at £57.29 million (€67m) by CIES Football Observatory and as they take into account contract length, they have a record of being rather accurate.

His agent says there is a high possibility that he will sign a contract extension at Roma so it sounds like an uphill battle to sign him.

Another potential Tottenham target on the CIES Football Observatory list is Fulham player Ryan Sessegnon. The 18-year-old (19 in May) who wants to remain in London is valued at £37.2 million (€43.5m).

The England Under-21 international was a huge hit in the Championship but has had a tough season at Premier League level in a poor Fulham side. That has subsided the silly talk last summer of £50 million (€58.47m) last summer.

Spurs are also said to be watching 24-year-old (25 later this month) left winger Rodrigo De Paul and 23-year-old (24 next April) central midfielder Giovani Lo Celso,

Both are Argentinian internationals. Rodrigo De Paul plays for Udinese in Italy and Celiso has been on loan at Real Betis in Spain from French side PSG, a loan move which was made permanent until 2021.
