The 19 year-old striker has been dubbed the 'Iranian Messi' has been earning rave reviews in Russia and Franco Bladini will try to convince him that Tottenham is the quickest route to first team football.

Spurs can use the Europa League to help the progress to first team football for the clubs youngsters where both Liverpool and Arsenal need something nearer the finished article for the Champions League so even football in the lesser of the two competitions has it's advantages.

At the beginning of April the youngster told Iranian telivision show Navad that he had received offers from Arsenal, Juventus, AC Milan and Barcelona.

"I have offers from three major clubs. Arsenal, AC Milan and Juventus.

"I also had an offer from Barcelona, but due to their transfer ban the club is out of picture at the moment.

"The talks with both Milan and Arsenal are getting very serious. Both clubs have spoken to Kazan.

"But for me it’s important to keep focus on Kazan. We have seven games left, I will decide after these games.

"I’m very proud to have Arsenal looking at me, but as I said, right now I’m only focusing on the Russian League."
Arsenal are believed to have offered £2 million for Azmoun but Tottenham will be hoping the lure of first team football will bring him to White Hart Lane this summer instead.
