Spurs 3 - 0 Roma : Half time Report

Spurs have been on top the entire half by being able to convert their chances into goals.

Bentley scored a great free-kick and a powerdriver.

Bent got on the end of a pass to slot home also.

Roma have been simply abysmal. Most of their passing has gone astray and they have shown very little resilience. They have though, sparked into a little life towards the end of the half, keep possession a lot more than they had been doing at the beginning of the half.

Dos Santos will become a legend if he continues playing like he is.

Our full-backs, Assou-Ekotto and Zokora have also been impressive, bombing up and down the flanks.

Dimitar Berbatov certainly looks interested and has played well whilst his link play with Modric and Bent has been exceptional.

Jenas has been going about his business in midfield quietly. He has been holding up play so as to allow Modric a greater freedom of play, although he has got forward a few times.

Modric oozes class and has covered midfield brilliantly, sitting back a few times whilst Jenas has ventured forward.

Our new keeper, Gomes, has had little to do apart from save a low shot from 6 yards. He has been keeping us all entertained with his hilarious impressions while the ball has been in Roma's half.

The team seem to be settling into the fluid Ramos system, which looks to me like a "Push and run" system.

Let the good times roll!

More to follow in the second half.
