Lamela, Llorente, Ogbonna more Spurs Juventus talks planned

Tottenham are negotiating with clubs not just over single players but discussing several players and exploring where possible multiple deals can be done.
We have had discussions with Marseilles over four players, one of which is a strong target for us Giannelli Imbula. He is an alternative to Morgan Schneiderlin, currently overpriced by Southampton.
Daniel Levy has held talks with Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev over several players with Anthony Martial high on the agenda, a story the players agents leaked. There were three players involved in the deal which saw Ben Davies arrive at Spurs and discussions on swapping players seems to have increased with the Financial Fair Play rules making everyone only spend their own generated revenue.
Last week Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici met with Spurs to discuss Fernando Llorente, whom they wish to sell having already agreed to buy his replacement for £21.71 million (US$33.78m - AUS$43.69m - €30m), Paulo Dybala.
Tottenham are offering £6.49 million (US$10.04m - AUS$13.08m - €9m) but Juventus want £10.62 million (US$16.74m - AUS$21.79m - €15m), not an insurmountable gap.
At that meeting Juventus enquired about the availability of Érik Lamela and were told he is available for £25 million (US$38.75m - AUS$50.26m - €34.64m). The Italians want to pay at least £3.61 million (US$5.60m - AUS$7.26m - €5m) less than that and the difference in the Llorente price would cover that but there is a third player under discussion so Daniel Levy would be keen to negotiate an advantageous price for the pair.
A third player was discussed also though, 27-year-old (28 in May) 1.91m (6ft 3in) central defender Angelo Ogbonna who the Old Lady bought from Torino in 2013 for £11.44 million (US$17.8m - AUS$23.02m - €15.81m). The left footed Italian has won 10 international caps and only made the UEFA Champions League side once, he did take part in 25 Serie A games.
We of course can't mention a player we have scouted without saying Liverpool have been linked with a move for him, but then who haven't Liverpool been linked with. Manchester United, West Ham United and Everton have both sent scouts to watch him as well.
Three players with price differences between the two sides, another meeting planned, you would think there is scope for a deal to be arrived at, but who it involves is another matter.
The defensive mentality Italian defenders have makes them formidable opponents and a bit of Italian nous could help our youngsters no end. When it comes to defending, for me the first place to look is at an Italian. There is a big Italian community in London and it would certainly give them someone local to cheer.
