Hull agree Livermore fee

Hull City have reached agreement with Tottenham over the fee for Jake Livermore after his loan period.

Hull agree Livermore fee

Jake Livermore formed an excellent partnership with another ex Tottenham player, Tom Huddlestone. The pair were the hub for a Hull City side that surprised everyone by not only making the FA Cup Final but by totally outplaying Arsenal to take a quick 2-0 lead.

Had Hull kept Arsenal out until half-time then they may well have lifted the trophy but it was a terrific achievement. Steve Bruce was impressed with the pair and made Livermore his number one transfer target this summer.

Tottenham demanded £6.5 million which Hull baulked at but with Crystal Palace willing to pay the fee, the Humber side have announced on the club website that they have now agreed an undisclosed figure for the player.

"Hull City can confirm that an undisclosed fee has been agreed with Tottenham Hotspur for the permanent transfer of Jake Livermore.

"The Club is now in talks with the player’s representatives over personal terms and we hope to conclude the deal early next week."
Jake is another successful product of the Tottenham youth academy and a credit to three people who have now left in club, Sherwood, Ferdinand and Ramsey.
