Troy Parrott has a mentality issue
I'm seeing rubbish written about 21-year-old striker Troy Parrott from our fans:
- He struggled to step up to senior football
- He needs game time to progress
- He was never likely to match his hype
And more like this...claptrap.
The guy has a mentality problem, that is and has been his issue.
I have written the same thing years ago and nothing has changed, has it.
I was writing the same thing about Dele and thatt proved to be spot on.
Parrott was out with his gangster friend and Dele drinking if you remember.
You wouldn't find Harry Kane doing that.
Too much, too young and either he thought he had made it or he had enough money and was more interested in his image or having a good time.
If you are a professional footballer you can't lead the life a fan, an ordinary person does. Your body is your temple, it is the tool of your profession and I'll say it yet again, the brain is the most important part of a footballer.
Anyway, Parrott is off to the Eredivisie side Excelsior Rotterdam on loan for the season. After averaging a goal every 10 games in the Championship, this move will determine whether his head is back in gear or his top-flight career in the Premier League is over before it has begun.

His failure is down to his mentality, nothing else. Has he sought help, I doubt it, he'd have to admit he has a problem first and we have seen with Dele that that can take a long time and your career can often be ofter by then, like it was for David Bentley.

Tottenham Transfer Talk
A quick piece, Inter Milan have Tanguy Ndombele on a list of possibles to add some physicality to their midfield.
Talks for 21-year-old Servian Lazar Samardžić have broken down so Inter are looking at 20-year-old Frenchman Lucas Gourna-Douath from Salzburg (probably cost too much €20m), 26-year-old Tanguy Ndombele, 28-year-old Antonín Barák of Fiorentina and 25-year-old Giulio Maggiore of Salernitana.
