Wanyama heads off on holiday, game parks on the agenda

Wanyama heads to Tanzania

Victor Wanyama had a fabulous first season for Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino that showed he was merely going through the motions for Southampton in the extra year they forced him to stay.

We have seen pictures of Kyle Walker relaxing in the Barcelona sun and now from Africa is news of the Kenyan international (he has 42 full international caps scoring 3 goals) heading off on holiday to Tanzania. The report in the report Nairobi News says he flew to Dar es Salaam with his two bothers and some associates.

Dar es Salaam is a major city and commercial port on Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast that grew from a fishing village. It is thought he is going to rest there for a week and has apparently lined up visits to several game parks and tourist attraction having spent last summer with his family in the Maasai Mara.

Both ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star David Beckham and Liverpool central defender Mamadau Sakho, who spent the season on loan at Crystal Palace and to who we have been linked, have already visited Tanzania this summer.
