Standard practice for Pochettino to be coy
1 min read
Mauricio Pochettino has given news on injuries and as is standard practice for him he has not given a time-frame for the return of the much needed Erik Lamela. We wouldn't have been saying that 2 years ago.
I did ask the club for information on injuries and rehabilitation, but was told any information given out was down to Mauricio Pochettino so it is a case of watching his pre-game press conferences to get the latest information I'm afraid.
His prolonged absence is worrying, but at least Toby Alderweireld is nearing a return. He is doing double training sessions but isn't 100% fit so whether he will be risked against Swansea on Saturday we will have to wait and see.
Danny Rose was missed against Chelsea and returns after suspension. He should never have made the tackle that led to his fifth yellow card showing he still has that rash streak in him.
