Moussa Sissoko joined his Spurs teammates on Wednesday to begin training with his new club. Mauricio Pochettino was pleased with his fitness levels.

"He is a player who can help us a lot. Last season at Newcastle and the Euros he was fantastic. It is another player who can help us. [We have a] very good squad. 

"He is a player who can bring experience, fast, strong and different possibilities to play. 

"When you play a lot of games with a lot of competitions to play, you need to keep your level. "He arrived yesterday (Wednesday) and I think he is in good condition. Tomorrow (Friday) I decide if he’s in the squad or not."
