Reports suggest Spurs are interested in Giovinco again

Reports suggest Spurs are interested in Giovinco again

Tottenham and Liverpool were linked with the then 28-year-old (29 next January) Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco whose contract was coming to an end.

In January he joined MLS side Toronto and a huge £4.5m (£86,538-a-week) salary. He has now scored 22 goals in 31 appearances which reports suggest means we are once again interested, as are Liverpool.

Earning a nice wage in an easy league and aged 28 surely rules him out joining us. He doesn't fit the profile of player we are seeking and for the moment is happy in Canada as he told Rai Sport.

"I'm happy where I am. I only just changed club, so let me enjoy this adventure first."
He has earned himself a recall to the Italian national squad and depending upon which report you read, either ourselves, Liverpool or Barcelona are taking a keen interest.
