"We are definitely more compact" - Garbage Mr Chadli

Nacer Chadli has been spouting the usual PR rubbish but incredibly thinks we are definitely more compact, after the least compact performance we have seen all season. Presumably he thinks Spurs fans are blind and stupid.

"We are definitely more compact" - Garbage Mr Chadli

“We are definitely more compact and stronger and think we create chances as well in every game."

What complete and utter rubbish. More compact, has he sat down and watched the Aston Villa game where we have no left sided defence, where he was supposed to be!

Did he not see after 11 minutes their roll the ball to their player with nobody near him, did he not then see him run to the half way line and over half way into out half before crossing, still with nobody anywhere near him, for Benteke to pt a diving header wide?

That is being compact and stronger is it, sorry but that is simply delusion. Where we compact and stronger against Newcastle and what about Asteras Tripolos, a lofty eighth in the Greek league, who simply played diagonal balls we hadn't a clue how to deal with.

How exactly are we stronger, WBA, Newcastle, Man City and Aston Villa. The only game we were have decent in was City because they played an open game but they could easily have scored eight. Liverpool tore us to shreds as did Besiktas with only Hugo Lloris saving our blushes again.

By all means give PR, but you have to make it believable, you can't just spout garbage.

“Last season we lost this kind of game but we fought back and we believed we could do it. Everyone believed – that’s the most important thing.”

We won out of sheer luck thanks to a deflection and because the ref sent Benteke off but not Mason. Without that we would have lost, Villa were the better side and they hadn't scored a goal in 5 games and lost the lot.

The body language tells a totally different story, the moaning at the ref tell a totally different story, there was not belief in half that team, but panic and desperation.

The one bright spark was Chadli's movement from the corner to score. He took a chance and shinned it in but what went before was woeful, nowhere near the Tottenham standard we expect.

If you are going to talk to the media at least say something believable, don't treat us like idiots.

The hope is that Liverpool were woeful for a season while they learnt a new system and style of play before finishing second in the league. We don't have a striker like Suarez however and our only truly world class player is Hugo Lloris.
