For Tottenham legend Ledley King it was all work and no play as Spurs began their pre-season tour. For Ledley the their was coaching and a brewery to visit.
Former captain Ledley King took part in a coaching clinic as part of the US pre-season tour for Special Olympics in Seattle on Wednesday. afternoon.
Special Olympics are a charity that provides sporting opportunities for athletes with learning disabilities across the world.
Tottenham are a global partner, have worked locally and will support the charities work across USA and Canada as part of the 2014/15 pre-season tour there.
Ledley King, a Tottenham Ambassador, was happy to continue to support the work of Special Olympics saying:

Ledley continued his promotional work by performing the 'tapping the cask' ceremony of a special 'London calling' ale at Reuben's Brews in Seattle.
The Official Supporters Club Seattle Spurs joined forces with the brewery to create their own British Bitter to celebrate Spurs coming to town.
The brewery is owned by a Spurs fan and Ledley was keen on this idea too!

Ledley King, a Tottenham Ambassador, was happy to continue to support the work of Special Olympics saying:
“Through the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, we have worked with Special Olympics for a number of years on a local level, delivering sporting opportunities to thousands of athletes with learning disabilities.
“It is great to extend this work on an international level, working alongside our Global Coaching team, who will be working hard throughout the Tour to deliver clinics at grassroots level to young people with a range of abilities.
“It is also good to work alongside the Sounders who, like us, have a huge presence in their local community and also have a close relationship with Special Olympics.”

"It's a brilliant idea, a fantastic way to bring people together and funds are going to a great cause as well," said Ledley.
"I've enjoyed another chance to meet fans and engage with them and you can tell the American supporters are all buzzing after their performance at the World Cup. It's a great time to be out here."
