A trip down Memory Lane

A quick jaunt down memory lane.

On this day in 2013 Lewis Holtby made his debut for us as a late substitute (71st minute) in a 4-1 away defeat to Norwich City.

In 2010 Younes Kaboul re-joined us from Portsmouth whilst Icelandic striker Eidur Gudjohnsen joined on loan from Monaco.

In 2008 Jonathan Woodgate made his Spurs debut in a 1-1 draw away to Everton after joining us two days earlier from Middlesbrough.

In 2007 Edgar Davids left us to re-join Dutch side Ajax.

In 1988 centre-back Neil 'Razor' Ruddock scored his first Spurs goal when we lost 2-1 away to Port Vale in the FA Cup.

Happy Birthday to our former Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov who is 33 today.

In 1965 Jimmy Greaves scored a hat-trick as we beat Ipswich Town 5-0 in the FA Cup.

Our first game on this day was in 1892 against Old St. Luke's who we beat 3-1 in a friendly at home.

We have played 6 Premier League games but only managed to win one back in 1993 against Crystal Palace. It's been a case of three 1-1 draws and two defeats since then.
