Captain Martin Peters put us ahead in the 79th minute, Welsh central defender Mike England made it 3-1 in the 84th and Peters struck again in the 88th minute to give us a comfortable lead to take to Switzerland. We won the leg over there even more emphatically 5-1.
In 1984 we played SC Braga (Portugal) again at White Hart Lane in the UEFA Cup First Round but this time a Second Leg tie running out 6-0 victors. We had won the away leg in Portugal 3-0.
This is our biggest win on this day ever, a 6-0 thrashing of Braga (Portugal) in the UEFA Cup First Round Second Leg tie at White Hart Lane watched by 22,478 fans. We had won the away led 3-0.
