1980Swindon Town's biggest crowd for a visit of Tottenham Hotspur = 26,000
1991This match equalled the highest number of goals in the encounters between Spurs and Oxford United, while the star of the show Paul Gascoigne joined a number of players who had scored twice against The U's - the highest number of goals by a player in a match against them.

1995Vic Buckingham, defensive midfielder/wing-half 1935-1949, dies. He joined us from our nursery club Northfleet United in 1935, left in 1949 and went into management. He managed FC Barcelona in 1970.
2005Spurs under Martin Jol sign Mounir El Hamdaoui, from Excelsior Rotterdam. He never played a competitive match for us. Mido signed on loan for 18 months from AS Roma. he eventually joined on a permanent deal.
