Real Madrid feeding inflated price to the press for Isco

TRANSFER TALK

From Spain comes news that Tottenham would be prepared to pay £40.69-million  (€45m - AUS$65.79m - US$49.65m) for 24-year-old (25 next April) Spanish international Isco in January, even though he will only have 18 months of his Real Madrid contract left.

That sound like complete rubbish, given the price reported in the summer was £22.63-million  (€25m - AUS$36.55m - US$27.58m) when he had 2 years left on his contract. It sounds very much like Real Madrid feeding a story to the newspaper, in this case, Sport, to try and push his price up.

manchester United, AC Milan, Juventus, Arsenal and ourselves are all reported as being interested in signing him as are his former club Malaga.
