Danny Rose certain to start for England
Danny Rose has come from nowhere to be the included in the England squad for the European Championship which for England starts with a game against Russia on June 11th.
Tomorrow night there is another warn up game, this time against Portugal and the Tottenham left-back is guaranteed to be in the starting line-up after Ryan Bertrand missed training. Bertrand, the Southampton left-back, missed training on Tuesday and misses it again today while he has treatment on a knock. That leaves the door open for the Premier League left-back of the year to stake his claim for a starting berth in the opening game.
Mauricio Pochettino told Rose several times last summer that he would turn him into an England left-back and he has been true to his word.
