New Chelsea Manager And Match Fixing

New Chelsea manager and match fixing

The new Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte,s has just been acquitted of involvement in match fixing. It was alleged that he knew about a match being fixed involving the side he managed at the time, Siena and did not report it.

Prosecutors had asked for a suspended six-month jail term and a fine. but the prosecutor decided there was no blame attached to him.

Back in 2012, Conte did serve a four-month suspension after failing to report his assistant Cristian Stellini's involvement in potential match-fixing, while at Siena.

If you have been involved in match fixing you shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the game and you certainly shouldn't be allowed to have involvement with youth players. He and Chelsea should fit like a glove.
