Arsenal - sharing with Spurs a complete no-go
1 min read
It seems at least one Arsenal director has a better grasp the realities of club rivalry than Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore.
Scudamore was over in Asia for the annual Asia trophy and was asked about Tottenham building a new stadium and where they would play for a season. His answer was incredible for a leading figure in the game. he appreciated there would be difficulties nut though Spurs could share with Arsenal, which I felt was almost tantamount to incitement to violence.
Fortunately Arsenal director Lord Harris has a more sensible view and understands the potential for trouble that would cause.
Hopefully Mr Scudamore will take on board Lord Harris's comments and get a better grasp of the realities of the situation before any more ill advised comments.
Further Tottenham Reading
Spurs archaic trust in hope

"With the supporters being so different, I think it would be impossible to share a ground. If either Arsenal or Tottenham won the league, the other team would be going bloody mad. I don't think that could work."
