Is there still a Spurs fan who thinks Chiriches is class?

The utterly hopeless Vlad 'Liability' Chiriches did it again. From the first minute when he passes the ball to Besiktas deep in our own half to give them their first chance. He obviously thought he'd start as he means to go on because he put in one of the worst displays from a centre-back you could ever hope to see.
He lost his man consistently, was beaten easily consistently and ended up with yet another useless piece of defending to give Besiktas a goal and a point.
What is Fazio supposed to do with Chrirches tearing holes in his own defence, he can't rely on him so he has to be prepared for a mistake every time. That means he not only has to do his own job but he has to be expecting to clear up after his partner all the time. It is virtually impossible to shine like that, it's what affected Michael Dawson's game and he is still twice the player Vlad Chiriches is.
We can not play him at centre-back, he ought to be moved to right-back and let Eric Dier play at centre-back, you need that area to be strong and it never will be if Chiriches is playing there.
The other waste of space was Paulinho who isn't the slightest bit interested in playing for Tottenham. I suggested he might be tried out wide in an earlier article after flopping in a defensive role away to AEL Limassol, it was his mistake that gave them their goal, and the central attacking role he has played his other games in.
He was walking around and giving yet another half hearted display. His displays this season can't be blamed on Tim Sherwood's management and they are showing our interim manager was right to ditch him. The moment Paulinho said he is too lazy to learn English was when I realised we had signed a player with the wrong mental attitude.
If you want to force your way into a side you first put in the effort, you don't down tools and basically sulk like a little kid. It's either that or he has a problem with an Argentinian manager. Harry Kane offers far more in the attacking midfield role and it will aid his development playing him there so unless there are injuries I wouldn't be picking him in the next Europa League game.
