Burnley v Sunderland Preview

Burnley v Sunderland
Just one point separated these two sides but the two strikers who scored 47 goals to fire Burnley into the Premier League are both injured.
Burnley's home start has been a tough one against Chelsea and Manchester United against whom they got a creditable draw. They have also played fast starters Swansea at the Liberty Stadium so it hasn't been an easy introduction for them. The Turf Moor club have not scored in their last 3 games and scored only one goal so far, but they have not conceded in their last 2 games either. They play 15th-place Sunderland and these are the games they need to start winning if they are to have any hope of staying in the Premier League.
With 3 draws and 1 defeat, Sunderland's record is not looking very strong, however they have drawn with Manchester Utd and ourselves. They have conceded at least one goal in each of their 4 games but have only lost twice in their last 11 games. They will fancy their chances of taking three points.

THBN Verdict
With both Burnley's goalscorers from last season missing it's hard to see where their goals are going to come from. They can play nice football but lack any sort of goal threat and Sunderland should have too much experience for them at this level. I think they may well win this by 2 clear goals.
