A quick look at the pre-tournament picks reveal a correct prediction of 11 of the 16 teams going through to the knockout stages of the 2014 World Cup.

World Champions Spain correctly predicted to not get out the group and Algeria to qualify were the picks, Ecuador conceding a late goal to Switzerland preventing them going through.

Group F - Argentina and Bosnia-Herzegovina - only Argentina went through
Group G - Germany and Portugal - only Germany went through
