We looked quality
I managed to watch last nights game on a not so legal satellite channel and to be honest, I couldn't of predicted that we would have scored five goals, but hey, I'm not complaining.
I read some comments about Harry saying that Defoe was virtually unplayable. He's spot on with that comment. Jermain was amazing, although I wouldn't give him the man-of-the-match award. For me, Hutton was the rightful winner. He was immense.
Hull had a a fair few tall players in their side last night and Hutton dealt with them all. Charlie and Bassong did alright, but at times looked shaky. Assou-Ekotto looks quality. You can argue that he was playing against lesser opposition, but he looked like a player that's on top of his game.
My mates and I were a bit shocked that Harry had chosen to play Keane and Defoe from the start, but to Harry's credit, he got it spot on. Now, I've been an advocate for Harry starting with Pavlova and Defoe, but Keane did a great job by dropping deep and bringing the rest of the team into play.
Out of all the goals scored last night, all of us couldn't have been happier for Sgt. Wilson when he scored his goal. It's obvious that Harry has been working with the central midfield pairing. When one goes forward, the other stays back. Their interchange of play has proved successful so far.
We're looking forward to the West Ham match. Believe it or not, I think West Ham away will be our hardest match yet.

That's some comment from him. I've only seen the highlights, and from what I saw, we looked quality.
Hutton played that well then?

COYS!!!!
youre wrong.
One game at a time... West Ham next! SPURS!!!!!
ps: cited you in my blog over last night's match predictions... hope you don't mind. COYS!!!!!
I would have to say I didnt think it was Huttons best game ever though (as much as I want to see him do well). Besides BAE, our back line looked susceptible to high balls into the box. But not to take anything away from the result. Triffic 'arry!
But the performance was top draw.. confidence is flowing and with it come the goals.
Picking up points on the road will be key this season for a decent finish

Benoit assou ekotto looks amazing hes got a brilliant first touch very skillful and can pass, i noticed on opta stats he touched the ball more than any other player last season. My only slight worry is that he is rash in his tackles, he will give away pens and get sent off in the future no doubt, but definately the best left back i can remember us having in the last 10 years.
West Ham were in that asia trophy and we took them apart just lyk we did to hull, we will believe we can dominate west ham lyk we did that day, i serious think we will win.
West ham play open football but we are just better than them, set plays was our weakness but we have looked very solid dealing with corners etc, things are looking good
