Anybody who has followed 'Arry's career for more than five minutes should know that he never gives away what his plans are regarding transfers. He just bides his time and then produces signings that invariably involve players no-one has ever heard of but turn out to be really good. I like the fact that he is keeping his cards close to his chest.

FFS get a life. Your job is to watch and support Spurs, Harrus job is to buy players and pick the team so just let him get on with it as he lets you get on with watching and supporting. Who the hell is going to join a club that might loose 30 points before the season gets under way ... Never wanted Harry then and still don't ... like Jol he is a top 5 person but not a top 4 person. I think we are doing the right thing. At least I hope so. Redknapp made the comment that he needs 3-4 quality players to take us to the next level. If I look at some of the players we get linked with (eg Cisse who thankfully has moved to Greece), you have to ask if they are better then who we have. In most cases the answer is no. So if Harry decides that a player is not going to make the team better, he decided to keep who he has and not bring in the rubbish player. Just dealing for the sake of dealing, like Commoli, will take nowhere. Yes it is exciting. If Harry's view is bring in class players or no one, then great. I think this is why many players have not moved on either. We have not found anyone better than them - yet!

i want to know who our manager rates in our squad, and that is not just the usual suspects woody and the King. What about the welsh kids, and the french boys, the Mexican and the English rose. Are they are future Harry or should we forget their names. I want to believe that one of them will be a superstar but i suspect they will never be given a chance because their signings can never be attributed to Harry and he won't like that. On another note has anyone else out there been as proud in the last ten years as when Martin Jol was at the helm. For me he embodied the spurs family spirit and did pretty dam good, harry thinks 8th is a good but i'm sure he will think 10th and an FA cup final are good enough for this season. I'm sorry Mr Manager we don't want another ten years of mid table, but had a good cup run team.
