Same squad

If we keep the squad we've got at the moment, meaning that no other players leave or any players sign, where do you think we'll finish the season?

If we are to continue with last seasons form, I'd say that a top 7th finish is definitely possible. What do you think?

  1. i'd rather we kept the squad as it is and didnt sign anyone. We are good enough to finish 6th with the players we have
  2. We won't be finishing higher than top 8 with the current squad as we need to add some depth to it.

    Villa, City, Everton and Fulham will all be adding. We can't remain stagnant in the market.
  3. It's a difficult one tbh as not many teams have bought anyone.

    If we keep the current players, I can see us finishing 6th, but it will be really tough and we'll need to be out of the cup competitions in order to achieve it as our squad isn't actually that large.

  6. I think we will finish in the top 8 somewhere. With the current squad, we can definitely fight for 5th place but we will not break into the top 4. Who knows... money may not necessarily be the answer to Man City; their defense still needs a lot of work. To me, Fulham and Everton are solid and consistent as long as their squads stay as is.

    We need one good striker and workhorse CB / DMF signing. That's it! COYS!!!!!!!

  9. Just like Terry Venebles said; we'll need to bring in a few quality signings before we can even think about the top 6.

  11. We finished 8th last season with our current squad & the worst start in history. I believe that having had enough time to gel now & a better start, top 6 finish is very possible. Fulham & Everton have got european football to distract them - we don't !!

    Top 8 a definite possibility with the squad we have depending on what start we make to the season.

  14. With the way the transfer market has gone, I can't see us signing anyone.

    We can of course sign rubbish players, but why should we?

    Ashley Young isn't ever going to come to us and even if he was interested, Villa would charge a small fortune.

    Carew isn't worth it as he's always injured. Downing can't play till January. Cattermole is priced at £10 million, so they can forget it and Jones is rubbish. Who does that leave us with? Possibly Peter Crouch?

    I think that when Harry said 1 or 2 signings, he actually meant it.
