A Step Too Far

The Sun newspaper was sent pictures of our striker, Dimitar Berbatov, signing a Manchester United shirt.

That for me, is the last straw! There is no excusing this blatant insulting behaviour. Even if the guy had told Dimi that he didn't have anything else for Berbatov to sign and that all he had was a United shirt, OUR player should have declined in signing another clubs' shirt, no matter what the circumstances surrounding that moment were.

I will be in The Shelf on Saturday, and if he plays, I will boo him. I've just about had enough of players not giving the slightest inkling into what we, the fans think!

To be fair, I really can't see him pulling on another Tottenham Hotspur shirt after this incident, and to be honest, I wouldn't want him to.

Good riddance Dimitar Berbatov!

  1. Who gives a fuck what he signs? It's a red shirt, not dissimilar from the Bulgaria shirt, he probably just signed a red thing and walked off.

  5. So What!!! There was probably a long line of people hoping to get autographs so I expect he did not really pay any attention to what he signs. It wasn't as if he was signing a contract!!!

    As far as Im concerned I would love to see almost any proven striker instead of Berba.

The guys signed a man u shirt, big deal! every1s fed up with the situation as im sure he is aswell. can u blame him for wanting to go to play for a team that will win things year in year out coz i dont, and im sure we held onto him last year with the promise of bigger and better things and we turned out to be a shambles. Ill b there in the crowd this weekend and ill be cheering his name becoz for one, he has made fans all round the world notice spurs! we had our chance to keep him, should have spent the money wisely last year instead of buyin a bunch of squad players! now lets take the money, let him b happy and look back at spurs with fond memories and spend the money tryin to build a team that is good enough to hold onto their best players

    My opinion on you is that you're worse then what you claim him to be if you boo him on Saturday, he's still our player, he still tries to his best for us and while the situation is like that we should support him. If he signs for another team, you can boo you head off for all i care ...

    "Oh heres an idea even better than the Henry one the psyche them into selling him to us" ...went the conversation. I'm sick of Manure and their manipulation of the media and i'm sick of the Sun doing all their talking for them. Levy's right, make him stay even if it means having an unhappy player, rather than letting Taggart get his way as always!
  12. Well congratulations. Your reaction which sadly is not singular, is exactly what the media and especially SAF want.SAF may not be many things but he is a master at playing mind games. You and others like you are making that easy with over reaction like this. Not everything you read in newspapers or online is the truth. There are for instance reports that this was an old CSKA top which would not suprise me in the least. But go ahead, boo him at the lane and take another step closer to helping SAF get his wish and making Berba want out 4 real.

  19. To be honest with you, it sure doesn't look like a Manchester United shirt. I can also add that the white strip, commonly used on the United kit, looks as though its been Photoshoped in.
