Everyone knew Manchester City were cheating, UEFA proved it but City said the evidence could not be used as it wasn't obtained through the proper channels and won their case.
They have simply spent over 8 years suppressing the information by not cooperating with UEFA and Premier League investigations and using legal arguments to avoid prosecution.

Alessandro Bastoni
You don't need me to tell you that Tottenham are interested in signing Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan and are disappointed that we have not managed to do so yet for many documented reasons.Inter would like him to stay and sign a new contract, especially with Milan Skriniar joining PSG in the summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there are differences in contract renewal negotiations between Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni and the Serie A club.
Bastoni is reportedly seeking €5 million net per season while Inter is offering €4-4.5 million net per season. Both parties have shown a willingness to reach an agreement, but the salary remains a point of negotiation.
The 23-year-old's contract is set to expire at the end of June 2024, and Inter is eager to extend it before the final season.
Tottenham may be interested, however, Inter is determined to keep Bastoni within the parameters of their agreement with UEFA regarding the wage bill and I'm sure the two parties will find a resolution.
Milan vs Spurs
Both French goalkeeper Mike Maignan and Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer are struggling to be fit to face Tottenham in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday 14 February.
Milan lost their derby game to Inter 1-0 at the weekend.
