Sunday Transfer Talk

A quick one today.
Another interesting stage in the Tour de France yesterday, guys that show incredible effort, incredible will power, incredibly mentality to overcome injury and still drag themselves up mountains.
Compare that to some of the privileged players at Tottenham earning a fortune and ask would you see the same effort?
For some you'd say yes, for some you'd say a definite no.
You remember my strikers post at the beginning of June or late May, where I looked at the list of strikers we were interested in and suggested Habib Diallo would/should be the man.
Well it is out in the press now that Spurs are definitely interested in him.
Surprise surprise.
I'll take a deeper look into his stats for you.

The other option for us is still Mourinho's choice, Arek Milik, who Napoli need to sell having bought Osimhen for an inflated fee.
Milik is currently in negotiations with Roma with Cengiz Ünder is in negotiations with Napoli to go the other way and both clubs are also still negotiating a deal.
Napoli want €15m plus Ünder.
Ünder’s agent, Ramadani, will meet Aurelio De Laurentiis (Napoli Chairman) in Capri to try to unblock the exchange.
Ranadani is adamant his client will leave Roma, who didn't make the Champions League and who turned down a bid from Spurs in January.
We are not the Napoli strikers first choice, he doesn't want to be second fiddle to Harry Kane and he knows the Italian league so both parties want to find a deal.
Habib Diallo is the man I have kept saying whom I think we will sign whenever asked the question on Twitter.
I stick with it again.
In a struggling side, Diallo scored 1 goal less than Victor Osimhen who was sold to Napoli for €60m+!
Inter Milan have reached agreement with Barcelona to sign 33-year-old (34 next May) Arturo Vidal on a one-year deal with a one-year extension option.
Inter Milan have reached agreement with Barcelona to sign 33-year-old (34 next May) Arturo Vidal on a one-year deal with a one-year extension option.
Does that mean they will no longer want Tanguy Ndombélé, hence stories emerging of Juventus wanting him?
CalcioMercato are reporting this and suggesting the Italian giants will offer 26-year-old (27 next February) Federico Bernardeschi who plays usually as a right winger or fellow right winger 29-year-old (30 later this month) Douglas Costa in part exchange.
Juventus are trying to get high earners off their wage bill at the moment and are cash strapped so a cash only deal for Ndombélé won't be possible at the moment.
Now, remember me writing that I didn't believe Ndombélé had contacted the virus as claimed in the press on 27 August?
So he would have to self-isolate for 14 days.
There is a gap of 10 days between the announcement and the game which means he must have had the virus for at least 4 days before that.
Either it's a smokescreen or his fitness levels, one assumes, is going to be low.
You would expect therefore, in a friendly for 45 minutes he would push himself.
Did he?
