Transfer Talk Spurs sign striker Etete
Before we get into the transfer news, Jack Roles has signed a new contract and Michel Vorm has left the club, having come to the end of his contract.
Paulo Gazzaniga overtook him to become our new number two during the season. Vorm has praised the club, it's staff, fane, believing it was an experience where he learned a lot and was very grateful to the club for the time he spent with us. I wish him all the best.
Notts County striker Kion Etete has joined Spurs in a deal worth around £200,000. The teenager made his League Two debut aged just 16 as a second-half substitute against Port Vale and has since impressed us.
The 17-year-old (18 in November) played for us in the recent Terborg Tournament as one of the 18-strong party, where we obviously took a close look at him.
Clearly, he passed the audition and joins fellow 17-year-old (18 next January) Troy Parrott as developing strikers at the club.
His appearances for us were mainly as a substitute and we took a look at him earlier in the year when we took him on trial in March and played him in a 5-3 victory against West Ham United in which he scored twice.
It is highly probable that Jon Goodman advised him to us. He was the academy head at Notts County and he now works for the academy at Tottenham
