In the first half, only Eriksen was running as a midfielder so the defensive players had nobody to pass to. They put us under pressure and we, therefore, had to go back to the goalkeeper. That left us with the same problem but further back, giving us more problems.



W couldn't play long balls down the channel and if we did Moura would be running away from goal to collect them, thus we need more pace wider and a target man up front. Poch made those changes, taking off Wanyama, who isn't quick enough mentally for this level in my view, a view I stated when he was at Celtic.



Ajax doesn't like a physical game and we outplayed them in the second half to turn the tie around.
