Mauricio Pochettino admits what every Spurs fan knows, Erik Lamela is in the last chance saloon, a major disappointment since his arrival at the club he is now in his third season and he has to start delivering n a regular basis. Fans are desperate for his to succeed you can see that every time that latch onto the occasional moments he does something as if it was incredible. Take the over the top reaction to his pass against Sunderland.

Go to the Spurs site and watch the video of the goal, you'll see the goal is made by Ryan Mason and his run, he gives Lamela no option but to pass it there, it isn't that Lamela has seen something nobody else has seen, it was a bog-standard ball made possible by the runner. Tom Carroll could easily play that ball.
Spurs Video
