"Tottenham should beat a struggling City side"

Spurs legend and former manager, Glenn Hoddle, commented that "Tottenham Hotspur should have enough momentum in the tank to overhaul Manchester City" in todays game up at Eastlands.

Harry Redknapp welcomes back Roman Pavlyuchenko, former City player, Vedran Corluka, and Jamie O'Hara after his suspension.

It looks likely that only Corluka will make the starting lineup out of the 3 above mentioned players.

Pavlyucheko, although in form, could see himself starting on the bench, especially after Darren Bent netted a hat-trick on Thursday night against Dynamo Zagreb.

Expected lineup: 4-4-1-1 Gomez, Corluka, King, Woodgate, Bale, Bentley, Huddlestone, Modric, Zokora, Lennon, Bent.

I HOPE GLEN IS RIGHT THIS IS THE ONE THAT COULD CATAPULT US UP THE TABLE AND SPURS PLAYERS NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME LIKE A CUP TIE .WE HAVE TO PLAY ON THE BREAK CITY ARE A DIFFEENT ANILMAL AT HOME AND WE HAVE NOT WON AWAY YET AND ALSO PLAYERS LIKE BENJANI AND VESSEL ARE BACK . I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HARRY PLAY 442 THIS WOULD GIVE MODERIC AND TOM MORE OPTIONS TO PASS.COYS GOOD LUCK
  2. I would feel happier with sticking with the 4-5-1 so we have an extra midfielder, as we need the extra man to cope with swp and robinho. Agree with the writer that corluka should replace hutton for this one - hutton is out of form at the moment. Would sooner have jenas than zokora if fit as he offers much more going forward. It is a big game - a win puts us back in the mix, a loss keeps the pressure right on.
