Wisla Krakow 1 - 1 Tottenham Hotspur : Match Analysis

Article by Claire Watkiss

Spurs, 2-1 up from the first leg at White Hart Lane, needed to show that they were stronger mentally after losing to Portsmouth on Sunday.

Ramos once again changed the side, bringing in loanee Fraizer Campbell and Welsh International, Chris Gunter, in for Pavlyuchenko and Corluka who were both cup-tied.

Just when is this team going to "gel"? I completely understand in giving Ramos time, but watching this hopeless Spurs side is doing my head in!

There are just no goals in this side, no spirit, and definitely, there's no one willing to pull this side up by the scruff of the neck.

Not much to report on other than Krakow's defender scored an own-goal to make it 0-1 to us. On 82 minutes, both King & Woodgate were caught having a mother's meeting, which allowed Krakow to score.

Staying in the UEFA Cup is only delaying the inevitable. God help us in the group stages!

We play Hull on Sunday. They are a far better team than Krakow. I'll be at the Lane on Sunday, cheering on our side. It does beg the question though; will the players be cheering each other on?

Spurs Line up: Gomes, Gunter, King (C), Woodgate, Bale, Lennon (Dawson, 87), Modric (Huddlestone, 76), Jenas, Zokora, Campbell (O'Hara, 67), Bent.
